“We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas…”. Let’s face it, who doesn’t like Christmas? The presents, the Christmas tree, the magic fairy lights hung in our cities, lunches and dinners with the whole family….one of the most wonderful times of the year, which naturally every now and again starts new “trends”. There is something for everyone, especially in relation to ornaments and decorations, but who would have thought that the proverbial Christmas fever would have infected even the beards of us men?
Originating from Grey London, a British advertising agency, Beard Baubles are the equivalent of the Christmas baubles balls that we usually hang on our Christmas tree in the living room... but for facial hair! Each package contains ten large and four small different coloured baubles and has already become a “must have” for hipsters around the world, both in Europe and in the US. A bizarre accessory, and for some certainly excessive, but for a noble cause: in 2014 the entire proceeds were donated to the Beard Season, a charity to raise awareness among men on the treatment and prevention of skin cancer.
Staying in England, more precisely in the East Village Market in London (where they were invented), for the next step up from Beard Baubles... Beard Lights! Supported by clips and connected to a battery that you can hide behind your jacket or shirt collar, these lights will turn on (honestly!) your beard, for an effect that is more Christmas than you can handle.
...have you all done all your Christmas shopping yet? Why not combine it with something from our range of beard trimmers? :)
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all!
